OUR PHILOSOPHY Our beliefs can be summed up very simply -- give to others as you expect to receive. Much like you, we enjoy the fetish lifestyle. In our pursuit to uncover the mysteries of this lifestyle we have often sought out various implements and devices to aid us in our adventures. One thing we always looked for when it came to equipment was top quality goods at reasonable prices. We enjoyed doing business with people who understood our needs and stood behind their products with service and knowledge. We strive to bring those same things to you.
THE LEATHER & HARDWARE WE USE There are many thicknesses and textures of leather on the market today. Since it is a natural product not all leather is created equal. The tanning process is a key element in the difference in leather and the craftsman plays a crucial role in the selection of the leather that is eventually offered to you in our product line. At Rapture Floggers, much thought has gone into what leather should represent our product line. Our decisions have resulted in raw materials and thus, finished goods, that could best be summed up as having a presence of their own; in other words, a substantial look and feel. Our products simply do not look flimsy, unfinished, or have a plastic-like finish. Our base, traditional leather is known as Chrome Oil Tanned leather and it offers an extremely durable, yet supple, finish that cleans up and dresses out very well should the need arise. Another of our most frequently used leather is American Bison, or Buffalo. It is soft, rich, and sumptuous -- yet it is extremely durable, cleans up beautifully, and is offered in a number of colors. Our buckles and hardware are the best available on the market today. We always use solid welded D and O rings. Our buckles are hand selected to accent the richness of the piece and are as durable as they are beautiful. |
